Rolando is an extremely addicting game that caught my attention the first day I owned an iPod Touch.

Gameplay: The Rolandos are cute little rolling balls, who’s mission is to rescue the Rolando royals from the evil shadow creatures. You roll your Rolandos through the many levels of the game, learning new skills and meeting new creatures along the way. You can also collect jewels and time bonuses if you’re into points. There are four parts of Rolandoland; Honeycup Meadows, Fire Canyon, Rolando Central, and finally Shadow Valley. In the free demo version of Rolando you can play the first part of Rolandoland and part of the second part. The demo version may be enough ‘standing-in-line’ entertainment for some people, but if you have no life, it’s worth the $5 for the full version.

Graphics: The graphics are very simple and fun. The Rolandos are cute, and the levels are clean and easy to navigate.

Bottom Line: Rolando is a lot of fun. The Rolandos are cute, and the app is overall very clean and well done. It’s definitely worth spending the $4.99 for the full version if you enjoy the free demo version. I give Rolando 5 our of 5 sleepy kings
